- Gravity surveying requires gravimeters to measure the precise
acceleration of gravity, equipment such as Global Positioning
Systems (GPS) to provide precise geographic locations, and
surveying levels, electronic ranging systems, or
GPS, to provide accurate elevations. GUMP
has, in Menlo Park, all the equipment necessary for conducting
precision gravity surveys.
