MICROBEAM INSTRUMENTS DIGITAL IMAGE PROCESSING Technique

		Digital image processing is an essential component of the investigations performed in the Denver Microbeam Laboratory. All data generated in the laboratory can be obtained in digital form for off-line processing. Several software packages are available in the laboratory for image processing and component modeling. Costs: Laboratory fees are still being discussed, however, a charge of $150 -$300 per day is likely for Geologic Division use in FY '98.
