CHROMATOGRAPHS

Technique

These system are capable of analyzing solid, liquid and gaseous samples containing organic matter. Organic substances with mass up to 2000 can be analyzed by the research instrument using multiple ionization methods. The benchtop GC-MS has a mass range up to 650. Complex mixtures of organic compounds are encountered in water, soils, sediment, rocks, and other materials. These mixtures are separated/extracted from the host material and sent into the GC-LC-MS. The instrument provides organic structural information which is then used for identification of specific compounds for various types of studies where one needs to know sources of organic matter and processes in which the organic matter is involved.
